Sylvia Ciborowski

Project Coordinator

Sylvia provides support to project managers for a variety of community outreach and public involvement projects. With her keen eye for detail, Sylvia produces public information materials, meeting plans and summaries, and prepares project research. She also lends a hand with marketing. Before coming to JLA, Sylvia worked with several small non-profit organizations and native communities on a Fulbright Grant to Peru. She developed educational materials, taught environmental and human rights workshops to indigenous groups, and helped communities collaborate with government agencies. Sylvia graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from Loyola Marymount University and has completed graduate coursework in Environmental Development at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. She has interned with a human rights international NGO in Geneva, Switzerland, and is fluent in Polish and Spanish. Sylvia lives in the Arbor Lodge neighborhood with her husband Van.
